What is sound healing?

Quantum Science has proven that everything is energy, including us. Sound produces specific energies which can help promote healing, peace and calm within the body both mentally and physically. Crystals are conduits which have the ability to transform, absorb, amplify and transmit. A crystal cadence is the activation of our authentic self through sound vibration. Every alchemy has a unique and different effect and in combination with the “cadences” the musical vibrations of the alchemy crystal singing bowls, we can experience a deep stilling of the mind, profound relaxation and regeneration, and the sense of embodiment of light, purity, and wholeness. Sound healing is now being recognized by the medical community as being helpful paired with chemotherapy treatments, depression & anxiety, injury and overall wellbeing.

what happens during a sound bath?

Students should dress in warm, comfortable clothing. You will utilize blankets, pillows and bolsters to find a comfortable position laying down or sitting.  You may use an eye mask or gently close your eyes. We will begin with some simply stretching and a short meditation to ground and center yourself.  After that, nothing is required of you except to just be.  You will listen to the bowls, some may go into a deep relaxing meditative state, while other may fall asleep. Students are encouraged to be comfortable, so if any shifting or readjusting is needed, I invite you to do so.  No matter how you choose to participate in the class, know that your body is receiving and absorbing all the healing benefits of the bowls by simply being in that space. 

why crystal alchemy bowls?

Crystal Alchemy bowls create a difference experience than plain or frosted quartz bowls (though they do look pretty on social media!) A fascinating fact about the bowls – A sound bowl will play differently for each practitioner, just as it will play differently with one person in the room vs. three.  Listeners will also hear different sounds.  It is pretty magical.
